Safety Information
Our goal is to provide our campus guests with a safe and secure environment. The location of Georgia Tech in Midtown Atlanta presents potential safety challenges, however your safety is of the utmost importance. The Georgia Tech Police Department (GTPD) is active in creating and promoting a safe campus, especially for our conference guests. Their mission is to enforce laws and campus policies, prevent and detect criminal activity, and reduce the fears of our conference guests through a visible campus presence. Our Conference Coordinators also work with the GTPD to coordinate emergency notifications for hazardous weather, campus alerts, and pandemic flu. Your safety is our priority.
